A portion of Airtel Kenya’s customers who complained about delays in the delivery of data bundles ordered through MPesa have had their complaints handled.
Customers who were affected had claimed that their data bundle packages had not arrived days after they had ordered them using the Safaricom mobile money wallet.
Airtel acknowledged having technical difficulties in response, but added that not all of its customers had been impacted.
“We have been having intermittent technical challenges affecting some of our customers who purchase our bundles through MPesa. The issue does not affect all purchases through this channel and only occurs during certain hours of the day. However, this is under resolution,” said the company.
