The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) has revised its pricing for DNA testing services, raising the cost from Ksh20,000 to Ksh27,000.
The new rates took effect in January 2025, according to an official announcement issued on Wednesday, January 8.
“We wish to inform our valued customers of a marginal price adjustment for the DNA Testing Service from Ksh20,000 to Ksh27,000 starting this January 2025. Thank you for your continued support. For more details, visit https://dna.kemri.go.ke,” read the statement.
The Human DNA Identification Laboratory (HID Laboratory) at KEMRI, which offers DNA testing services, is designed to meet international standards and ensure top-tier quality.
The facility caters to both private clients and referrals from judicial institutions.
