“Hawezi ruka mimba” – Mammito talks about the night she got pregnant, reveals the man behind it
Celebrated Kenyan comedian Eunice ‘Mammito’ Wanjiru recently disclosed details about her pregnancy and the man who is set to become a father.
Speaking candidly in an interview with Jeff Koinange on Hot 96, Mammito shared insights about her relationship and her journey to motherhood.
“He is my boyfriend,” Mammito said, describing her partner as a financially stable man with a steady job.
Emphasizing her preference for security, she added,
“I went to look for a man with a job. Someone with money. We can’t be two artists in the house.”
Mammito, known for her comedic wit, humorously dismissed any possibility of her boyfriend denying responsibility for the pregnancy.
“At 31, he can’t deny his baby (hawezi ruka mimba),” she remarked confidently.
The comedian also expressed deep commitment to her partner, saying,
“I can’t see any other man now, I am blind for only one. Nimeshachukuliwa na mtu.”
Referring to herself playfully, she added, “Nilimkubali, mimi ni chombo dhaifu,” underscoring her contentment with her relationship.
Talking about the night she got pregnant, Mammito said the two of them were happy about the event.
“Alimwaga ndani. Nillifurahia sana hiyo siku. Asubuhi niliamka nikampikia chapati. Nilijitolea manga nikampikia chai na mayai. I was a happy girl.” she added.

Mammito on why she is keeping him private
“I will keep him private because that is what you do in this city of Nairobi because you never know. You go public with him and the next thing you know the public is criticizing him, “Ohh! he is not good looking” and things like that while others are trying to steal him away,” the 31-year-old added.
“You show him off then they say oh he doesn’t look good, or they say oh others will secretly take him, I am 31, I can’t start all over again dating, ati asking him your favorite color!. At the age of 31, I’m too old, like you should know your”
Mammito on marriage plans
She described their relationship as happy.
