Daudi Mustafa, often known as Colonel Mustafa, has revealed his deepest regrets.
Mustafa stated in an interview with a local publication that he regrets wasting his money on meaningless items when he was at the pinnacle of his music career.
The rapper stated that he wasted his money on slay queens and alcohol and had nowhere to turn when things went wrong.
He has, however, told his followers that he will make wiser decisions in order to avoid returning to the circumstance that his admirers have worked so hard to pull him out of.
While assuring his followers of better choices, Mustafa also thanked them for their tremendous support in helping him get back on his feet.
“I was young and reckless when I had money. Now, I am older and wiser. I assure my fans that the funds they have contributed will be put to good use, especially towards my mother’s health,” he stated.
Mustafa, a well-known figure in Kenya’s music industry, became the talk of the town after a video of him working on a construction site provoked conflicting emotions, with many questioning the abrupt change in his life trajectory.
His friends have so far raised more than Ksh1 million through fundraisers.
The Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Sports, and the Arts also assured the artiste of the government’s assistance as he tries to better himself and his mother’s health.
“We have heard your challenges, and as a Ministry, I want to assure you that we are here to walk with you in this challenging phase. We have put together a package for you that will ensure that you are back on your feet, making music and entertaining us,” Namwamba stated.
