“It has been 16 days of grief, confusion and endless trips to relevant offices in pursuit of justice. I am glad we are finally headed in the right direction. Truth and justice will always go together. I wish to thank our Interior CS Kithure Kindiki for his intervention on this matter.
I also wish to thank: Mwangi Muthiora and the entire social media family, Hon. Betty N Maina, Hon MejjaDonk Benjamin Gathiru, Hon Francis Kuria Kimani, Hon. Anne Muratha and all the political leaders who have helped us amplify the cry for justice. We shall forever be grateful. Jeff, we shall not relent until we find justice for you,” he said.

DCI Visits DJ Fatxo’s House
According to detectives who visited DJ Fatxo’s apartment, the window where Mwathi is believed to have jumped from had grills making it impossible for an adult to jump through.
Instead, detectives are now considering whether the 23-year-old may have fallen from the rooftop.
Additionally, it was noted that the building’s CCTV footage did not reveal which point of the building Mwathi fell from. The video only captured his body in the air before landing on the ground.
However, reports indicated that the police would still pursue both leads as they seek to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of the interior designer.
The new twist emerged after homicide detectives visited the apartments to collect evidence that could be helpful in the case.
DCI detectives visited the DJ’s house and also recreated the scene on the ground floor where the body of the interior designer was found.
