On Monday, June 27, Moitalel Ole Kenta, a candidate for governor of Narok, found himself in an opponent’s region and was compelled to support William Ruto for president.
In a video obtained by Mkenyaleo.co.ke, Ole Kenta is heard urging a Narok resident to support the DP William Ruto, despite the fact that Raila Odinga, the leader of his party, is one of the front-runners.
Very wise of Hon Ole Kenta…"vote for Ruto and vote for me"…very wise indeed… pic.twitter.com/9eqvf2QqJi

Kenta said:
“Ikija mambo ya president, mimi ni mtu wa ODM, sitawambia mpatie mtu wa ODM, nyinyi I watu wa UDA, pea mtu yenu Rais, mimi mnipatie ugavana (When it comes to the presidential election, I am an ODM member and you are UDA, just vote for your candidate for president and me as your governor, I have no problem with that).”
Since he was not seeking the presidential vote, the governor-aspirant claimed he had no issue with Narok citizens supporting Ruto.
Patrick Ole Ntutu of the UDA is a strong opponent for Kenta, the departing MP for Narok North.
