“I am the only rich gospel musician living in Karen” – Guardian Angel brags

Singer Peter Omwaka, called Guardian Angel, claims to be the sole Kenyan gospel musician living in Karen.

In an interview with Spmbuzzke, the Yesu sio mwizi crooner stated that his music career is prospering, as are his companies.

“I have money, that I won’t lie to you, I’m very okay. I might be the only gospel artiste who lives in Karen.

Ringtone stays in Runda, not Karen, you get my point? Plus that’s not a place you can just live aimlessly, I live well.

I have other businesses, two or three here and there. Music also pays me really well and I’ll be lying if I say I don’t get money from music,” he said.

According to the singer, music may not be profitable for everyone, particularly new artists.

He stated that a number of people rely on him and that he has numerous bills to pay.

“I can’t generalize and say music pays everyone. Of course, there are artists who are not where I am, they don’t get money every month or fail to get gigs.

So when I talk about music paying, I’m considering other people as well, there are those people who are still struggling. If proper structures are put in place, at least it can accommodate all of us so that everyone can get something.

“For me when it gets to the end month I’m required to pay various bills that amount to millions because I have different businesses, I have farms that need to be taken care of, I have people who work for me in music and in my farms and businesses. When I talk about money I don’t put everyone in the same bracket, I’m still considering there are people who are still growing,” he said.

Concerning his marriage, the singer stated that his wife has been instrumental in his career because she is always there for him.

“I can never leave my wife, she is my heart. If my wife wasn’t my wife I doubt I will be where I am now. Let me just appreciate her contribution to the growth of my career and my life. Looking back to when I met my wife and my progress now I see a very big difference even in general, how my life is, without focusing on the money aspect.

“Even though she is not here with me I just want to appreciate her efforts. I am one very hard individual to control, I’m the hardest person to work with and everyone who works with me will tell you it is very hard,” he explained.
