“Nikitoka hapa nakua pastor” – Miracle Baby pledges to be a pastor once he gets healed

Mugithi singer Miracle Baby has pledged to preach the gospel upon his hospital discharge, as evidenced by a video of him in bed with his mother.

“Bwana asifiwe. I’m going to preach. Nikitoka hapa nakua pastor and I will preach. Wenye wamenisupport God bless you. Mungu anasema hapa ninatoka.”

The singer and her girlfriend, Carol Katrue, recently appealed for financial support to settle a Ksh 1.6 million hospital bill.

“Guys we are appealing For funds to pay the bill ….peter will be discharged tomorrow and the hospital bill is 1.6m now….. for support this is my number 0794790255 carol muthoni mbuthia.”

The singer has been ailing from a gastrointestinal condition. Katrue had explained that he has been having the condition since 2018.

“He has been having stomach issues since 2018 when he went for the first surgery. The doctors said they were removing that growth, they did a CT scan, and they said things were blocking, so they did the surgery.”

The issue re-occurred in 2023.

“They could not see his appendix. Then we did a CT Scan. It emerged that the other hospital removed his appendix. We thought they had removed his growth instead. They also didn’t return his organs properly.”

“So they took out the growth, so when he went in for surgery and didn’t find the growth, I think they removed the appendix, so after they connected him in 2023.”

“So more often he found his intestines closing a lot; we would take him to the hospital for some injection that would temporarily solve the problem and be discharged,” she added.

“So on Sunday when we came to the hospital, we assumed it was the same thing. The family thought it was a simple and fast procedure. This was not the case.

We were sent to do a CT Scan, and it was discovered that there was still a problem with his intestines. For two days, they tried using a pipe and medicine, but nothing worked. On Wednesday last week, his stomach was swollen; he couldn’t eat. He couldn’t go to the toilet,” she continued.

“He went for an emergency surgery. They found intestines zimepasuka, zikamwaga choo kwa tumbo. Tumbo ikasaifishwa. So they stitched him up, then found the wound was leaking something.”
