Raila Odinga to legalize bhang if elected President

Vice-chairman of Jubilee David Murathe is now urging Raila Odinga of the Azimio Party to review the platform of George Wajackoyah of the Roots Party, particularly his views on cultivating medical marijuana.

Murathe asserted on NTV on Wednesday morning that Raila need to consider cultivating marijuana for medicinal purposes.

He pointed out that a lot of African nations have turned to the export of marijuana, and that this is a concept that many Kenyans, particularly the young, have shown a significant interest in.

“I like what he (Wajackoyah) is saying about weed. It is true and I saw a documentary about weed in South Africa. It is not your normal weed. This is medicinal and they bring in agronomists and they grow in greenhouses. It is expensive,” Murathe stated.

“Countries around us have done it. Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, and Zambia are examples and it’s about making money. We are asking our candidate to consider in the next dispensation for medicinal purposes. The numbers Wajackoyah is giving are making sense.”

Murathe added that Deputy President William Ruto, his former employer, should be concerned about the popularity of Wajackoyah in the presidential contest.

“If Wajackoyah was to change any dynamic and I saw him the other day some social media photographs with the deputy president it is a deputy president’s corner that should be very worried.

“They should be very concerned because they are appealing to that generation is right they are appealing to people who are taking they’re not interrogating some of these things seriously,” Murathe stated on the Roots Party presidential candidate.
