The senator also believed that Pastor Ezekiel’s claim that he just purchased a TV signal from notorious preacher Paul Mackenzie was not improper.

“I do not see anything wrong Pastor Ezekiel has done, if he bought a TV station from Paul Mackenzie. Where is the problem?” Salasya posed.

He warned pastors using sponsored hashtags to soil the name of the preacher saying their work will also struggle.

“Pastors who have gathered together to fight pastor Ezekiel you will still struggle in your ministries. I have seen young people who have been bought all over social media to come and destroy pastor Ezekiel’s name. As one of the followers of pastor Ezekiel, I see no problem in him,” the youthful leader said.

Young defended Ezekiel, citing men of God like Moses, who dropped his rod, and it became a snake that also swallowed snakes produced by the Pharaoh’s witch doctors.

“Today, if a man of God was to do anything of that nature, it would be an issue. We have other ministers of the gospel from other nations coming to minister and Kenya is blessed.

“In the over 25yrs in ministry with my dad Bishop Pius Muiru, I have realised, it’s only the church that has a problem when they see one of them do great things. Most servants of God have been fought because of what they have been able to do by the grace of God, ” he added.

Young implored Kenyans not to criticise the results if they don’t know a person’s journey because they don’t know what God is doing through them.
