Senator candidate and well-known attorney Karen Nyamu was forced to answer after a supporter said she was too old for her co-parent Samuel Muchoki, alias Samidoh.
Karen shared a photo of herself and Geoffrey Kaituko, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, on her Instagram page after they had a meeting in his office.
“We had discussions that are looking to strengthen this important sector,” she said. As usual, dozens of her followers on the internet rushed to comment on the post, some commenting on her meeting with Mr. Kaituko while others went off-topic.
An Instagram user told the mother of three that her age has surpassed that of her co-parent Samidoh by a long way and therefore asked her to end her relationship with him.
“You Karen, you look too old for Samidoh though, leave the little boy alone,” she said. In her answer, Nyamu noted that the Mugithi singer is satisfied with her as she is and therefore asked the fan to break up with him.
“She chose the old man, please let him enjoy it,” she replied. The UDA senator is known to respond with sarcasm to her supporters who are often ready to comment on matters concerning her daily life.
She is also known to not care much about how people perceive her. Last month, Samidoh’s wife, Mrs Edday Nderitu also pointed out that the politician is too old for her.
Edday, warning her husband against a relationship with Karen Nyamu said that she is not ready to accept her as a co-wife.
She lashed out at the senator calling her an immoral person who does not respect her family. “I have helped you develop your talent and supported you in everything, but one thing I have told you and I say here again, I will not raise my children in a polygamous family, especially with a woman who is more than 10 years older than me, she has no morals and respect for my family,” Edday told her husband.
In her response, Senator Nyamu pointed out that she is not the problem in all the drama surrounding the relationship.
