Diamond Platnumz, the bongo sensation, has turned to social media to brag about his new girlfriend, whom he is said to have married recently.
The ‘Mtasubiri’ singer offered fans a sneak peak at what appeared to be gifts to his love in a series of Instagram images posted on Wednesday.
“Kumpata anayekupenda ni jambo moja, ila kumpata atakae kuelewa na kukupa unachotaka ni jambo lingine kabisa,’ Diamond captioned the flatlay of sneakers placed next to a flower arrangement.
“You are my first and end, Lion loves you a lot,” he added.
The news comes only a day after allegations surfaced that the musician had married an anonymous wife in a private ceremony during Ramadhan.
Diamond’s close friend and Wasafi TV personality Diva The Boss broke the news to Juma Lokole, another close companion of the musician, over the phone.
“Diamond has married secretly. Tena mtoto mbichi. Tena mtoto anayejua dini vibaya mno. Diva, I am giving this exclusive. I found him (Diamond) praying in his house, something he rarely does, he starts praying at 1am,” said Juma.
“She is from Zanzibar. It was time for him to get married as he had already achieved all he wanted.”
Diamond opted to marry during Ramadhan so he could spend more time with his new bride, according to Juma, who added that the musician will shortly present her to the world once the holy month is through.
