Marriage is supposed to be a beautiful thing. After all, the Good Book declares that ‘he who finds a wife, finds a good thing.’ But marital unions are not always rosy.
Apparently, there are clans whose men have been always advised not to marry some women form some parts of Kenya if they are seeking a happily-ever-after marriage.
For instances, women from some clans among the Kikuyu, particularly Kiambu, are renowned ‘headaches,’ while other clans are famous for ‘fast and furious’ separations.
Aside from these tribal factors, a grandmother from Eldoret is now trending social media for setting new factors for men to consider before marrying a lady.
Speaking at a function, the unidentified woman asked men to be wary of women who wear make up is satanic.
According to her, such ladies should be left to stay with their mothers because they were not raised properly.
The hilarious grandma said:
“Kiptrotich usi oe ile inaweka rangi macho. Kuna wasichana wanaweka rangi kwa macho na mbomo nyekundu, mkono nyekundu na mguu nyekundu. Rangi ya Kishetani. (Kiprotich do not marry ladies who use colour on their eyes. There are ladies who use red clour on their eyes, lips, hands, and legs. Satanic colours),” said the woman.
Adding;
“Kiprotich na nyinyi wenzangu, msioe, wacha akae na mama yake. Kwasababu mama yake hakumwambia vizi (Kiprotich and the rest, do not marry them. Let them stay with their mothers because their mother did not teach them well),” she added.
