Vera Sidika: I became a millionaire at the age of 19
Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika claims to have earned her first million at the age of 19, during an Instagram Q&A session with fans.
“How old were you when you made your first million?” and without hesitation, Vera responded, “19 years old.”
Vera Sidika, a renowned socialite, gained fame as the lead video vixen in P-Unit’s 2012 hit ‘You Guy’ music video.
She recently claimed to have bought a Ksh450,000 weave and a luxurious bed for $11,500.
“My motto; To simply wake up every morning a better person than when I went to bed. My Girls still can’t get over the fact that I got this bed for 11,500$. Oh well, they don’t understand the feeling,” she wrote.

Vera Sidika is one of the most influential social media personalities in East Africa, with millions of followers on Instagram and other social media platforms.
Her success as a socialite and entrepreneur has allowed her to build an empire in the fashion and beauty industry, owning a skincare line, hair salon, and boutique.
Vera Sidika Early life
Vera Sidika was born on 30th Sept 1989 in Mombasa, Kenya. She is a Kenyan from the Luyha tribe. The socialite grew up in the coastal region of Kenya. She is the firstborn (only daughter) in a family of three kids.
Although she has not revealed most details about her brothers, one is David Mung’asia.
Vera has not unveiled the name of her parents. However, on 6th Jan 2020, she posted her dad’s picture wishing him a happy birthday on her Instagram. She also said she would always be a daddy’s girl.

During an interview with Spm Buzz, Vera revealed her mother is a business lady, and while growing up, she watched her run her businesses, two boutiques, and a computer college. She praised her mum as really fashionable, and it was where she got her spirit of enterprise.
Vera Sidika’s old photos show she was enrolled and graduated from Star of the Sea High School in Mombasa.
She then attended Kenyatta University in 2009, where she pursued her degree in Art & Design, which developed her passion and shaped her career path.
