Worrying trend
A female student at Kibabii University was on Thursday night attacked, raped, and her hand chopped off by unknown criminals.
The student survived the brutal attack and has been admitted at Bungoma West Hospital in Kanduyi.
She was set to graduate today at her school’s graduation ceremony that is currently ongoing.
The incident adds on to the alarming trend of violent crime in the country.
