Stevo Simple Boy is a Kenyan artist with a lot of potential. He comes from a humble background, and Kenyans are progressively loving and supporting him.
The mucisian is also fluent in Kiswahili, and some of his sentences have attracted notice. He recently flaunted his Ksh10,000 shoe, but Kenyans were quick to point out that, despite its price, it was not legitimate.
His song ‘Freshi Barida’ song has since gone international after being played in different countries.
He came up with the world ‘freshi barida’ and he trademarked it as his own. His phrase is now international after a top club in Europe posted it.
Jose Mourinho’s side, AC Roma posted Stivo Simple boy’s phrase freshi Barida alongside a picture of their head coach on their official Twitter account.
The account is the official and verified As Roma swahili page. Congratulations to Stivo Simple boy who has invented another phrase where he says ‘niko shegga’ to respond whenever he is asked how he is doing.
Stivo received another boost after learning that his new song is playing in Egypt.
Stivo shared excitement after seeing a video of Egyptians dancing to Freshi Barida song at a Cairo club. The singer shared a video of the Egyptian revellers enjoying Freshi Barida with Eric Omondi,
who had a show in the country on Friday, May 27.
It was to Stivo’s surprise that the Egyptians seemed to know some lines of the hit and he was stunned to see them enjoying his own work.
“Freshi barida imefika mpaka Egypt Cairo @ericomondi watu Uko wako freshi barida jamani,” Stevo wrote.
