“Mniombee! Ni uchungu kupoteza mzazi” – Stevo Simple Boy asks for prayers after losing his father
Rapper Stevo Simple Boy from Kenya expressed his gratitude to Kenyans for supporting him after losing his father.
The artist’s managers released the information.
In this trying time, Stevo has urged his followers to pray for him and his family.
“Nashukuru Sana mashabiki kwa kunisapoti huu wakati wote ila nimepata msiba wa kupoteza Babangu mzazi naomba mniombee na mnipee nguvu wakati huu.
(I am grateful to my fans for supporting me all this time. I have lost my dad and I ask that you pray for me during this period.”
A statement by Stevo’s management on their social media asked his fans to pray for his family during this tough time.
The management did not reveal the cause of his (Adera) death but said they woke up to the sad news on Sunday morning.
“We woke up with sad news this morning announcing the death of Anthony Adera, father to Stephen Otieno Adera famously known as Stevo Simple Boy.
We urge all his fans and friends to stand with him during these tough times and put him in our prayers. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE 🕊️,” they wrote in the statement.
Stevo is famous for his songs that revolve around social issues that affect daily societal living.
He gained recognition after releasing the song, Mihadarati.
Stivo Simple Boy was born and raised in the slum of Kibera.
Luckily, he turned around the entire experience for good as he credits the tough upbringing for nurturing his talent in music.
