Sauti Sol loses Thousands Of Followers A day after threatening to sue Raila

Since threatening to sue Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party for allegedly utilizing their song without permission, award-winning Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol has continued to lose YouTube subscribers.

This writer’s cross reveals that over 2,000 individuals have already unsubscribed from their YouTube channel, which is the fourth most subscribed to among Kenyan artistes.

Since joining the streaming platform on April 9, 2012, the Suzanna hitmakers had amassed a total of 905K subscribers as of Monday. However, since the group threatened to sue Azimio la Umoja under Raila Odinga, the numbers have continued to decline.

They currently have 903K subscribers, with indications that they have already lost 2,000 subscribers. There are currently 239,689,083 views for the group.

Otile Brown, a Kenyan singer, is the only musician to have surpassed one million subscribers.

He was even handed the famous Golden Plaque by YouTube management, which is given to individuals who reach one million followers.

Bahati, Willy Paul, Khaligraph Jones, King Kaka, Nadia Mukami, and Guardian Angel are among the other Kenyan artists with the highest YouTube subscribers.
