Reports indicate 14 people have died in a tragic accident that occurred early this morning at Migaa area, Molo, along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
According to initial reports, the 3 a.m. accident involved a Kitale shuttle matatu that was hit by a trailer whose driver reportedly lost control.
Police spokesman Michael Muchiri confirmed that all those on board the ill-fated PSV died. Of the fatalities, 12 were from the matatu, while two were from the lorry. The victims included nine males, four females, and a child.
