Popular socialite Risper Faith has claimed that she slept with her husband Brian Muiruri after meeting him for the first time.
During an interview with Mwende Macharia on Radio Maisha, the socialite said that she met Brian on Instagram after he slid into her DM (direct message) and asked her out.
Risper stated that Brian was in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and that he invited her out for a coffee date after informing her that he would be returning to Kenya in two weeks.
“Alikua Atlanta. Aliniandikia akaniambia ‘hi beautiful I am coming to Nairobi in two weeks. Can I take you out on a coffee date?’ Mimi after two weeks nkamjibu,” she said.
The socialite added that it was love at first sight for her when she laid her eyes on Brian and that she asked God to make him her husband.
“Kukuja hivi nkamuona tu hivi nkaambia Mungu ‘Mungu huyu ndo bwana yangu siendi pahali pengine’.”
“Nini ilikufurahisha? (What impressed you about him?) Mwende probed.
The mother of one explained that she loved Brian’s outward appearance and above all he made it rain dollars on her.
“Ametoka US, ni msafi, skin imenyoroka, alafu kwa wallet kulikua na dollars alafu ananukia vizuri, ameng’ara. Yani alikua mzuri tu,” Risper said.
Risper Faith additionally confessed that she had to sleep with Brian on their very first date when they met.
“Alafu unaona hio siku ya kwanza tu nilikutana na yeye nikampea. Sikuchelewa,” she said.
“Siku ya kwanza Brian alisoma katiba? (The very first day Brian ate your cherry?) A shocked Mwende asked.
“Mhhh,” Risper Faith replied.
“Wanasema yakwamba ukimpea siku ya kwanza ngumu yeye kusettle (they say if he sleeps with you on the first day it will be hard for him to marry you),” Mwende said.
In a quick rejoinder, Risper Faith explained that she was silently praying to God to make Brian settle down with her while they were having intercourse.
“Ehh ni ngumu lakini mimi siku ya kwanza nilikua nampea nkiomba Mungu. Yani uko unapeana yako yote lakini unaomba Mungu unaambia Mungu ‘please huyu ndo akue mume wangu staki kuenda popote tena. Mungu tafadhali shikilia huyu’. Na kweli Mungu akajibu maombi,” Risper Faith said.
On February 3, 2018, Risper Faith married Brian in a colorful white-themed invite-only wedding ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi.
In December of that year, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Ryan.
