Ladiiieees!!! Gather here! I want to talk to you!
When slides to your DM, you better respond to his messages. He could be your future God-ordained husband; you never know!
At least city preacher Rev. Lucy Natasha can attest to this.
Did you know that she met her husband, Stanley Carmel, online? Well, now you know.
However, she did not reply to her husband’s direct messages for two years.
The couple spoke with People’s Daily and revealed how their love started.
Carmel disclosed that he came across a video of Natasha preaching in 2017 and was smitten instantly by her beauty.
He decided to play the traditional way of hitting on women online. First, he followed her on Instagram and slid into her DM to shoot his shot.
His messages were mostly encouragement messages and prayers, but guess what! Natasha ignored him for two years before she started replying to his messages.
“I came across her videos on Instagram in 2017 where she was preaching about a royal wedding. Her beauty stood out,” Carmel recounted.
Adding, “I went online and followed her on Instagram, and in true online fashion, I shoot my shot and sent her a message. Well, she never replied, but for two years, I sent her messages of encouragement, prayers name it.”
In her defense, Natasha explained she did not ignore her husband intentionally. She explained that she usually receives many direct messages, and it is hard to tell which are worthy of her attention.
She was, however, smitten by how Carmel was consistent in messaging her despite not getting a reply.
On why he messaged Natasha without getting tired, Carmel regarded himself as a patient man.
“I’m a patient man, and because it is said good things come to those who wait, this is the testimony,” he said.
The couple first met in person in Dallas, US, and immediately stuck in chemistry as they talked for hours. Carmel claims they were vulnerable to each other, enabling them to be confident that they were starting a beautiful journey.
“We met in Dallas, we talked for hours on end. The conversations were natural and the chemistry was effortless. We were vulnerable with each other, but one thing we were sure about was that it was the beginning of something beautiful,” said Carmel.
Natasha is now happy with Carmel as he is the husband she prayed to God for.
However, she was sure to take her time and learn about her lover.
She revealed, “I did my research and because we had mutual friends in the Lord’s vineyard, I was comfortable even to meet up with him.”
Natasha and Carmel got engaged in November 2021 and married traditionally in January 2022.
Therefore, my dear ladies learn something from Rev.’s story and respond to DMs!
