“Mambo bado!” – Raila Odinga says Arsenal will win Premier League

Raila Odinga, the leader of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party, is a passionate football supporter.

Since his early days in politics, the former prime minister has loved football. He even played for Kenya’s Bunge FC.

Kenya’s most successful football team, Gor Mahia FC, which is presently leading the standings, has Raila as its club patron.

It’s no secret that he supports the English football side Arsenal, and he’s never held back from doing so, including by attending live games.

Most of the club’s followers are holding onto the dream of winning the English Premier League championship after 19 years because this season has been probably one of the best seasons for the team.

The ODM leader expressed his thoughts on the fact that, despite having led the league for the majority of the season, Arsenal is currently trailing Man City in the English Premier League standings.

According to Raila, they are waiting for Man City to draw and drop two games while winning the rest of their games to claim the championship.

“Sasa mambo bado maanake Man City bado wako na mechi nne. Tunataka tu wapoteze moja na kudraw moja na mambo kwisha. Kwa hivyo hii itaenda mpaka deadline, dakika ya mwisho,” Raila said.
