Raila Odinga’s ODM party has considered Crystal Asige, a former member of the Sol Generation, for the Senate nomination seat.
The singer has been proposed as a candidate to represent people with disabilities in an Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) nomination list.
Along with her male counterpart Kakiri Ochieng, Asige, a former member of the Sol Generation, has been nominated for the Senate.
Crystal became well-known for being the first woman on the exclusive label, sol Generation.
In 2019, she later had a tense relationship with Sauti Sol for an unspecified reason.
