Radio Jambo presenter Lion Deh is grieving the heartbreaking loss of his one-year-old son, Lion Junior, in a tragic accident that has left fans and colleagues deeply saddened.

Reports indicate that Lion Junior passed away after falling from a high ground, sustaining a fatal brain injury.

Lion’s co-host and close friend, Githinji Mwangi, popularly known as Mbusii Deh, struggled to hold back tears on air as he expressed his condolences.

“Pole sana Lion kwa kupoteza mjunior. Usikonde, the young Lion ako fiti. Take heart, comrade. Losing a child is very hard. Poleni sana,” he said during their show.

 

The devastating news was first announced by fellow Radio Jambo presenter Massawe Japanni during her show, Bustani La Massawe.

“Lion Deh won’t be able to attend the show because he has lost his child. Mbusi might or might not make it either, as the two are like brothers,” Massawe said, offering her condolences.

Fans and well-wishers have since taken to social media to express their sympathy and support for Lion Deh and his family.
