Public Service Commission announces over 100 job vacancies; How to apply

The Public Service Commission has advertised 106 job vacancies.

In a notice posted on My Gov, PSC stated that the vacancies are in various ministries and state departments.

PSC announced that there are two positions in the State Department of Lands and Physical Planning, 22 positions under forestry and two under the Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries.

Additionally, there are seven vacancies under mining, four in the transport department, eight under cooperatives and 30 at the State Department of Labour and Skills Development.

PSC also stated that there are 16 vacancies under gender and affirmative action, 10 at the State Department of Youth Affairs and Creative Economy and five vacancies at the Department of Sports.

The positions under advertisement include secretary lands, director land valuation, secretary forest development, director agroforestry, deputy director forest management and conservation, deputy director ecological restoration, assistant director ecological restoration, and assistant director forest management and conservation.

Others are the Director of fisheries and blue economy, deputy government chemist of mining, assistant government chemist, inspector of drilling, director of shipping and maritime transport, deputy director of road and railway transport services, and principal research officer.

Senior deputy commissioner for cooperative development, deputy commissioner for cooperative development, assistant commissioner for labour, director gender, principal gender officer and senior gender officer are also some of the vacant posts qualified Kenyans can apply for.

Also wanted are the director of film services, deputy director of film services, assistant director of film services, senior principal superintendent –electronics, deputy sports registrar and principal sports registrar.

PSC said the applications should reach the commission on or before August 13, 2024, latest 5pm.
