PHOTO of Ruto and Gachagua standing barefoot in church, goes viral

William Ruto, a candidate for president of Kenya Kwanza, and Rigathi Gachagua, his running mate, attended a Sunday worship with their wives Rachel and Dorcas.

The church ceremony was held at William Ruto’s Karen residence, and the wealthy families were there.

Gachagua wore a striped suit and a pink shirt, while Ruto wore blue pants, a white shirt, and a jacket. Dorcas and Rachel both wore long, flowing gowns that covered their legs.

As they approached the pulpit, which was covered in comfortable red and gray carpets, the two gentlemen and their wives eventually took off their shoes.

Then, Dorcas, Gachagua, Rachel, and Ruto spent a long time in prayer conversing with God.

Many Kenyans were moved by the two empathetic women in the photos that were taken during the church ceremony.

The presidential contender later received officials at his home following the service, including recently elected Nakuru senator Tabitha Karanja and governor Susan Kihika and her husband.

As the nation waits for the announcement of election results, William Ruto, a presidential candidate for the Kenya Kwanza party, attended a church service with his family and political allies.

Ruto’s mother, Mama Sarah Cheruiyot, who is rarely seen in public, was also present at the gathering at his official mansion in Karen.

Nick and June, two of Ruto’s children, were also sighted at the church event. Alex, June’s husband, was also there.

Oscar Sudi, a Kapsiret MP, Alfred Mutua, a former governor of Machakos, and Veronicah Muthoni, the secretary general of the UDA, were among the politicians in attendance.
