Kilifi County’s Milele Funeral Burial and Benevolent Services plans to sue Pastor Ezekiel in response to his miracles.
He supposedly used holy water to purify a site near the funeral home, and after doing so, he publicly claimed that the morgue had lost business.
The morgue, according to Pastor Ezekiel, is not close to any medical facilities, which means that it is accepting deaths along the way because it is equipped to care for the deceased.
“At Mbogolo slope on your way to Mombasa on your right, there is somewhere written Milele Funeral home. There is no hospital, dispensary or clinic but it’s just a funeral home. And that area is a black spot.
“In other words, they are telling you that they are welcoming deaths along that stretch because they have their ready business for funeral service. They are telling you that we welcome you to die, we have everything ready for the funeral service,” Ezekiel said.
The pastor claimed that he used three bottles of water to wash the irritated area clean.
The administration of Milele Funeral Services may take action against Pastor Ezekiel as a result of his recent comments regarding the establishment, which could put him in hot water.
The funeral home’s operator, Coastal Links Investment Limited, led by Johnson Amani, has claimed that Milele Funeral Services is open and that Ezekiel’s claims are untrue.
“For clarity, Milele is still operating and any false information being advanced by the pastor should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
“Even as I am speaking now there are bodies from the accident scene in Taita which are being ferried to the Milele Funeral Home morgue,” Mr Amani said.
Although he claimed they obeyed all the rules before opening the business, Mr. Amani maintained that Pastor Ezekiel has been tarnishing the facility’s name since 2020.
