Sensational singer Otile Brown has finally opened up about his beef with fellow singer Arrow Boy.
The feud between the two started when Otile came to the social media to rant about how Arrow Boy had published a song they had together in his Focus album without his consent. Otile accused Arrow Boy of unprofessionalism and demanded that he pull down the song.
Speaking to Presenter Ali during Tecno’s event yesterday where Otile signed a massive ambassadorial deal, Otile explained that he felt disrespected by Arrow Boy, someone he had respected.
He said, “We had talked, and Arrow Bwoy is among artists I respected so much.”
He agreed that Arrow Boy had asked permission to upload their collabo, but he refused since he felt the song was not yet ready.
“Arrow Bwoy asked me if we could release the song, and I said we couldn’t release since that song was from the past, but he went ahead and released it,” said Otile.
Adding, “He ignored us and released the song. I have to be comfortable with a project before I release it. I will tell him even when I meet him.”
Regarding their relationship, Otile claimed that he and Arrow Boy had never been friends. He felt that Arrow disrespected him because he felt he did not owe him any consideration since they are not friends.
He said, “We are not that good friends, and maybe that is why he felt if he released the song, I would do nothing.
He proceeded to advise people to respect each other irrespective of the nature of their friendship.
“We should not be friends to respect each other,” he said, after which he added, I cannot do something that I would not want someone to do for me.”
