Anne Ngirita, a NYS suspect, has been imprisoned as a result of court orders filed on February 22, 2022.
After an individual who had supplied the surety in Ngirita’s Ksh226.9 million NYS scandal asked to withdraw, the Milimani Anti-Corruption court reached the decision.
Magistrate Eunice Kagure issued an order to the police to carry out her commands, which she described as “urgent.”
Ngirita will be held in custody until she can acquire an alternate surety or cash bail, which the court had already approved.
The decision comes just days after the NYS graft suspect approached Jubilee to ask for permission to run for the role of Women Representative in Nakuru County.
