President William Ruto has a lavish taste, often wearing expensive items that have made headlines and captivated the internet, whether he’s meeting fellow Presidents or traveling globally.
However, this has not sat well with majority of Kenyans who feel the president is extravagant in spending taxpayers’ money, despite urging the citizens to live within their means.
Those who complain about the president expensive fashion have been slammed by the former LSK president Nelson Havi who termed it as ‘foolisheness’.
Taking to his Twitter account, angry Havi said:
“I do not understand why some of you expect the President of the Republic of Kenya to wear this worn-out pat pat or akala sus.
Honestly speaking, a shoe worth Kshs 150,000 for the President is not anything to complain about. Let us stop this aggravated foolishness.”
From his designer shoes to his exceptional timepieces, the President has never hidden his affinity for the fine life and lavish brands, a sure testament of his obviously deep pockets and minted status.
