Ndindi Nyoro reveals Gachagua can’t meet Ruto without Farouk Kibet’s approval
The Kiharu MP Ndidi Nyoro made the shocking revelation on Sunday that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua cannot contact President William Ruto without Farouk Kibet’s consent.
Farouk has been President Ruto’s personal assistant for a very long time.
Speaking at a Farouk-organized service of thanksgiving at Koilel Primary School in the county of Uasin Gishu, Nyoro claimed that the host is a significant figure in Ruto’s inner circle.
He said that in order to speak with the president, one must receive approval from Farouk, who he praised for being prompt in coordinating plans whenever the president is set to attend events.
“Huyu mtu anaitwa Farouk ni mtu wa maana sana. Na watu wanasikianga Farouk wanafikiria ni mtu utapata ako na ofisi floor moja ujo kwa ofisi ya Rais (Farouk is a very important person. Many people hear of him and think he has an office at the office of the President),” he said.
“Ofisi ya Farouk ni ile ya Rais wetu wa Kenya. Kwa sababu huwezi fikia Rais Farouk akisema no. Ata huyu deputy President rafiki yangu kufikia yeye (Ruto) Farouk lazima aseme yes (Farouk’s office is that of the President of Kenya. Because you can’t access the president if Farouk says no. Even the deputy president who is my friend to reach him Farouk must say yes),” he added, seemingly in jest.
While describing Farouk, Gachagua said he would wish to work with him but the President told him off saying he should look for “his own Farouk”.
The DP noted that the aide has been instrumental in Kenya Kwanza Alliance’s win saying he made a huge a contribution.
