Akothee: Celebrities around the world took to social media to celebrate Mother’s Day, sharing the pictures of their mothers in the process.
Singer Akothee took also the opportunity to pen a lovely message for her mum, who managed to raise 8 kids who are all upright both morally and financially.
She wrote:
“The pride of a mother is to see her children doing better. I have made my mother proud in as much as it started on a wrong side we have ended up on the right side of life. I love you momm. May God bless you.”
Adding:
“Forgive me for always being a child, at the end of the day YOU ARE MY BIOLOGICAL MOTHER I will always cherish, love and care for you MIN AKOTHEE.”
Singer Akothee comes from a family of politicians. The singer who makes headlines based on her social media posts and actions on and of stage has a very sober background.

Akothee grew up in a household with parents that worked for the government and one who eventually became a politician.
Akothee builds house for her parents
Recently, Akothee displayed the beautiful and humongous bungalow that she built for her parents in the rural parts of Kisumu.
The singer is known to live in mansions but also showed to care as much for her family.
She went on Instagram to share an image of the beautiful house she built for her parents after bringing down an earlier one.

The mother of five also reminded her fans of the importance of watching her family doing great as it was her priority.
“This is my parent’s house, I broke down the one they had built and put up this one by myself. I would have used this money for some showbiz, but my priorities are quite different from others. Family comes first,” she noted.
Akothee also revealed she was changing her parent’s wardrobes without them asking as they were her responsibility.
“I wanted comfort for my parents, just like I did for myself, I often change my parent’s wardrobes even without them asking. I know they gave birth to me, they are my responsibility. Let them know that they are loved and that they have a responsible daughter,” Akothee added.
