As her mother prepares to retire, singer Nadia Mukami threw a lovely retirement party for her.

Leading her mother to the retirement celebration, which was held at their house, the mother of one who had just performed at the Choma na Ngoma event displayed her joy.

Nadia prayed for her mother’s well-being in a video that she posted on her Instagram profile when she left the workforce.

“Thank you, God for blessing me so that I can Bless my mother!! Ndio Kuingia Retirement party😁😁😁😌😌😌🔥🔥🔥🔥,” she wrote.

Many admirers were taken aback by Nadia’s mother’s youthful appearance, to the point that some questioned whether it was her mother or her sister.

The “Radio Love” songstress couldn’t just hide her joy that her fiance Arrow Boy who accompanied her.

She even acknowledged that Arrow Boy is officially her boyfriend. “Thank you Arrow Boy for coming to my dad’s retirement party. You are now part of the family. I love you too babe.” She announced.

Nadia’s mother has been supportive of her daughter’s career especially as she just got in. The singer has previously revealed that her mother would wake up in the middle of the night to pray for her when things were hard for her.

“The only person who had my back when things were hard was my mum. She would wake me up to pray together at 3 am and I am glad her prayers have been working lately,” she said.

Nadia Mukami’s mother is retiring from the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
