Mwanaisha Chidzuga makes grand comeback on TV screens
Mwanaisha Chidzuga, a media celebrity, has earned a new position at TV47, where she will read news bulletins as part of the show “TV47 Wikendi” on Fridays and Saturdays.
The well-known Swahili news anchor announced it via an Instagram post in which she expressed her appreciation for the chance.
“Back to my God-given gift and purpose. #NewsHosting and Presentation… I take this opportunity to first thank God for giving me this chance to officially join @tv47ke… #Tv47Wikend with all of you, my dear fans… Sincere thanks to the entire team for the warm welcome… To all my viewers, welcome to Tv47Wikendi every Friday and Saturday… with my co-host,” she said on Instagram.
After being absent on the big screen for close to four years, Chidzuga is back. She last worked at K24 TV, a station owned by Mediamax Limited, before quitting in October 2019.
Her devoted supporters have been waiting impatiently for her return, and the news of her new role has sparked excitement among her devotees.
Other major improvements to TV47’s newsroom include. George Maringa, Grace Kuria, Fred Indimuli, and Ahmed Bahaj are all journalists who have joined the publication.
