After Stivo Simple Boy’s appeal to Kenyans, comedian David Oyando, also known as Mulamwah, has promised to assist him.
Having posted a picture of himself and Stivo with his wife Grace Atieno, he confirmed this on his Instagram page.
Mulamwah stated that he met with the artist and discussed a number of matters that he hoped would come to pass.
“Tumekutana tukaongea. Hope mambo itakua better,” he wrote.
In another video, Mulamwah is seen reaching into his pocket where he pulled some cash and gave Stivo Ksh5,000. He also gifted his wife Ksh3,000 and encouraged the couple to hang on.
Meanwhile, Stivo’s management dubbed Men In Black (MIB) announced the termination of their contract with the singer after he accused it of letting him suffer in poverty in a recent interview.
“We would like to notify you that we no longer wish to proceed with our musical contract with you. This letter serves as a notice to you of our intent to terminate the contract in a lawful and in accordance with the protocols,” MIB said.
In the said interview, the singer’s wife disclosed they are broke noting that Stivo is too gentle to fight for his rights.
“Kuna changamoto ambazo ziko kwa hio nyumba ndo maana kwa sahizi naweza nkasema kitu ya kwanza anapitia mambo magumu na hawezi akasema. Shida yake yeye ni muoga na kijana mpole sana hawezi ongea.
Kwangu mimi siwezi nikaona ati bwanangu anahangaika halafu ye ni muoga wa kuongea so lazima niseme tu venye ako,” she said adding that the singer was still suffering way before they moved in together.
“Wakati nikiwa kwetu Taita alikua ananiambia anaumia hana pesa kwa nyumba so mi nilikua nafikiria ni mchezo maybe hizo mambo na kiki so kuja huku kuishi naye dah ndo nkayakuta hayo mengi tu.”
