In 2021, Comedian Mulamwah became the talk of town after he said he had given his then-girlfriend Caroline Muthoni aka Sonie, Sh100, 000 as a push gift, hours after giving birth to baby Keilah Oyando.
Mulamwah explained:
“And it is a girl so I won the bet…but I forgive you and instead I have brought you the 100K.
It is for you to spend and do whatever you want with the cash congratulations on this wonderful and amazing gift and we hope for the best. I love you so much. And also there are some flowers here, one of the Doctors who did an amazing job, one for the baby girl and one for my girlfriend. Congratulations,” said Mulamwah.”
The comedian also promised to add Sonie some Sh200, 000 to her account, adding that he was saving Sh1000 every day for her since she got pregnant.
“I will add you some Sh200K more in your account… I was saving Sh1000 for you every day, for all the days that you were pregnant.”
Speaking to a local publication, the mother of one said she wasn’t given any money
We asked Sonie said; “So, what did you do with the 100k he gave you?”
She responded;
“I wasn’t given the money. Aki, I wasn’t given any money. I think what I needed at the moment was him to take care of the hospital bills and all my clinics and he did that,” she said.
“That was the gift he gave me. The money he showed you, I wasn’t given. Showbiz is funny, when you are in the limelight, you can do anything.”
Mulamwah and Sonie have since broken up and she is currently taking care of the baby. Sonnie alleged that he last saw their daughter when she was two months old.
