Lynne Njihia, the 24-year-old girlfriend of comedian Eric Omondi, has revealed that she wouldn’t hesitate to move abroad if her modeling career required her to be in the UK regularly.
Speaking to YouTuber Trudy Kitui just hours before departing for a surprise birthday retreat on Sunday, March 30, 2025, Lynne shared that her top priority as she turned 24 was advancing her modeling career. Having already secured a contract with a UK-based agency, she emphasized that if her work demanded her daily presence in the UK, she would relocate—especially for the sake of their daughter.
She also mentioned that Eric wouldn’t have any objections, as he could visit her whenever necessary.
“I’ve already signed a contract, and they’re working on my portfolio. I’ll be a commercial model, so if the job opportunities increase, I will have to move because of Kylah. It won’t be an issue for Eric—he can always take a private jet and visit me,” she stated.

The Journey of Their Relationship
Eric Omondi and Lynne Njihia’s relationship became public in 2022, with the two making headlines due to their age difference and Eric’s past high-profile relationships. Despite the scrutiny, their bond grew stronger, and they welcomed their daughter, Kylah, in 2023.
Throughout their time together, Eric has been vocal about his love and support for Lynne, frequently sharing affectionate messages and grand gestures to celebrate their relationship. From surprise vacations to public displays of affection, the couple has consistently shown that they are committed to each other.
Even with Eric’s busy schedule as a comedian and activist, he has maintained that family remains a priority. Lynne, on the other hand, has been carving out her own space in the modeling industry, with her recent UK contract marking a significant milestone in her career.
Eric Omondi’s Perspective on Lynne Moving Abroad
When asked whether he supported Lynne’s potential move, Eric expressed that he had no problem with it, as he wanted the best for her.
However, he made it clear that he personally had no intention of relocating, as he believed his role in Kenya was far from complete.
Eric recalled that about six years ago, he had considered moving abroad, specifically to the US, but ultimately decided against it. Now, he remains committed to staying in Kenya and focusing on making a difference.
“She is a model—that’s her dream, and we will support her. But for me, I cannot leave Kenya until things are in order. There was a time I wanted to move abroad, but circumstances changed. We will support her while we remain here and keep things running,” he explained.
With Lynne’s modeling career on the rise and Eric focused on his projects in Kenya, the couple appears to be navigating their future with mutual support and understanding, regardless of where life takes them.
