Donald B. Kipkorir, a well-known city attorney, has asserted that Raila Odinga’s supporters lost him the presidency while he was running for the Azimio la Umoja office.
Kipkorir claimed that Odinga’s assistants and those in charge of assigning agents to all polling places around the nation during the election failed to do their jobs.
The former prime minister’s ardent supporter’s attorney also claimed that the same individuals deceived Odinga over the legitimacy of his petition for the presidency.
“Raila Odinga was let down and betrayed by people closest to him and those who ran Azimio Secretariat.
“They lied to him they had everything under control. They lied all agents were in place & paid. Now, they are lying about the Supreme Court case instead of working on it to be foolproof,” DBK said.
Ledama Olekina, a senator for Narok, stated that the DBK would rather assist in finding solutions than point fingers and admit that he is aware of what went wrong.
“Instead of focusing on the lies can we focus on solutions here … we know what happened let’s fix it!” Ledama said.
DBK responded SAYING:
“Bro, am just saying that Azimio Secretariat engaged in and still engages in hyperbole instead of working on bolts and nuts. Loyalty isn’t hypocrisy and falsehoods.”
Leaders of Azimio la Umoja have insisted that they had proof that the election of August 9 was manipulated.
Odinga claimed that two Kenyans and 19 foreigners were involved in the scheme to rig the elections in the suit that was submitted to the Supreme Court.
Prior to the pre-trial session, which will officially kick off the proceedings, the IEBC earlier this week submitted its reply to Raila’s appeal.
