“Kubali ulishindwa and retire peacefully” – Joshua Arap Sang Tells Raila, reminds him of 2007 events

Former Kass FM and Mediamax’s Emoo FM radio host Joshua Arap Sang has dropped a message to Raila Odinga.

The journalist in his response to Raila’s message, warns the Azimio One Kenya Coalition leader against what he is doing currently in the country.

Joshua Arap Sang was charged at the International Criminal Court over atrocities meted out against the people in parts of Rift Valley during the post election violence of 2007. In his message to Raila today, the journalist seems to be haunted by ICC and warned Raila.

He told the former prime minister that he should be the last person to disturb Ruto’s government. Sang told Raila to remember the journey and sacrifices that Ruto took because of him.

“Just quit and enjoy your political retirement because many love you but majority of us Kenyans elected President Ruto against all odds,” read Sang’s statement.

He continued to address Mr Odinga warning him against continuing with the same people who denied him victory in 2007. He said the likes of Martha Karua will isolate him and also dethrone him as a Pan Africanist.

He however posed a question to Raila that think if Ruto could steal votes taking into consideration the influence and power that Raila was bestowed in 2007.

“Kubali umeshindwa uheshimike kwite,” fumed Mr. Sang.

He told Raila not to allow bloodshed to happen like in 2007-2008. He added that many families are still in pain up to date.

Sang pleaded with Raila to listen to his plea saying that it’s from the bottom of his heart.

He told Raila that Ruto is the president and he should allow him to take the country forward. He finished with a proverb saying in Swahili which translates to; everything that has a beginning has an end.

ICC Witness says three people coached him to implicate Ruto and Sang

Sang was responding to Raila’s message earlier to Ruto. Raila had told the president that even though he captured and weakend the power of parliament and every state institutions, the power belongs to the people who are now demanding it.
