KOT begin raising funds for man who lost bike after fully repaying loan to Watu Credit
Kenyans on Twitter have began donating funds to Quincy Otieno, the boda boda operator who lost his motorbike immediately after completing his loan payment to Watu Credit.
Otieno Okoth has been calling for help in recovering his motorbike which disappeared under unclear circumstances.
Okoth revealed that he bought the bike on a loan of KSh 212 000 from Watu Credit, but after cases of defaulting payments, the final amount was KSh 233,000.
Unfortunately, his cries have fallen into deaf ears on the side of creditor and investigating authority.
“Goodmorning KOT. Today is day 4 since my motorbike got stolen. I had just cleared paying WATU CREDIT a 233k loan which took me almost 14 months.
I woke up the next day and my bike, which has trackers from the company, had disappeared. Please help me seek justice,” Otieno latest update
Three days later, a section of netizens has decided to come together to buy him a new motorbike, while urging the DCI to look into the matter.
Joseph Kairu Wambui, alias Khalif Kairo, a young entrepreneur and founder of Kai and Karo Limited has donated Ksh 40,000 to jumpstart the fund-drive.

“I’ve seen the Internet community come together and help celebraties back on their feet. I strongly believe we all can come together and help @_skilli get another bike even as we push for justice. He doesn’t have to be a celebrity to deserve our help. Or does he?”
