Khalif Kairo confirms he’s married to Wavinya Maria after dating for 4 months
In a candid interview with content creator Eve Mungai, controversial entrepreneur Khalif Kairo shared intimate details about his relationship with actress Wavinya Maria, revealing that the couple is legally married.
Kairo, who appeared alongside Maria, spoke about their love, plans for the future, and their approach to marriage.

When asked by Eve if the two had tied the knot, Kairo confirmed their legal union, much to Maria’s surprise.
“We are legally married, but we have not done a big wedding,” Kairo revealed, adding that they plan to hold a small, intimate beach wedding with close friends and family in the near future.
“We will do a polite wedding on the beach with a few people. We are very happy,” he said.
Despite the official status of their marriage, the couple’s relationship is still fresh.
Maria, who was visibly taken aback during the interview, shared that they have only been dating for four months.
“We were complete strangers before we started this relationship,” Maria noted.
Reflecting on his past, Kairo admitted that his previous relationships had been toxic, which influenced his decision to commit to Maria.
“I’ve been in toxic relationships before. This forced me to make the decision to settle down with a serious woman,” Kairo explained, adding that he now feels ready to build a family. “I am now mature and want babies,” he stated.

Wavinya Maria explains why they moved in together
Maria, on her part, expressed her desire for a serious commitment early on.
“Why are we dating for two years? I wanted to get married and start my family,” she recalled, noting that she had been ready to settle down long before meeting Kairo.
Kairo also showered Maria with praise, describing her as a bright light in his life.
“She is very bright. She has an aura. She is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with,” he said. He also compared his relationship to a business opportunity, explaining that, just like in business, when he sees a good opportunity, he doesn’t hesitate.
“If I see a good opportunity somewhere, I don’t think twice. I will go for it. I will do everything possible to get it.”
The couple’s relationship, though still new, seems to have brought them a sense of fulfillment. Kairo noted that, while no relationship is perfect, Maria is everything he has been looking for.
“The other relationships haven’t worked out, but I haven’t given up. She is not perfect, but she is good,” he shared, expressing his contentment with their union.
Kairo also briefly addressed his past relationship with Cera Imani, mentioning that they broke up due to minor differences but declined to speak negatively about her.
“I will never talk bad about her,” Kairo said, maintaining respect for his ex-partner.
As the couple continues to grow together, they remain focused on building a future that aligns with their shared vision of love, family, and mutual respect.
