KBC’s Sports Anchor Caren Kibett Wins Best TV Personality of the Year Award
Caren Kibett, a stunning KBC broadcaster, won the Best TV Personality of the Year award at the Zikomo Africa Awards.
On Saturday, October 15, the media personality won the coveted prizes.
Following her selection as the Best TV Personality, the state broadcaster was the first to congratulate its employee.
“Congratulations! KBC sports anchor Caren Kibett wins Africa’s ZIKOMO Awards (Best TV Personality of the Year).” the channel posted.
After winning the competition, Kibett couldn’t contain her excitement. She expressed her gratitude to her family and her supporters on social media.
“We brought it home Fam. I dedicate this award to my family especially my Mum @kechmilka without whom, I would not be here today. Your painstaking personal sacrifices have paid off.
To my Great Boss, Mr Samuel Maina, Wonderful colleagues, and the Kenya sports fraternity, I’m forever grateful and eternally indebted to you for the lessons and for believing in me. I salute you!

Kibett had expressed her gratitude to her workplace for adopting her before she was named the Best TV Personality of the Year.
