“Bring back the death” – Kalonzo tells Ruto as he visits protest victims

Kalonzo Musyoka, the co-principal of the Azimio la Umoja coalition, paid a visit to the victims of the anti-Finance Bill protest on Friday at Kenyatta National Hospital.

In the wards, Kalonzo saw patients with gunshot wounds and others with finger injuries.

During the demonstrations on Tuesday against the Finance Bill, 2024, the patients sustained injuries.

“We are sorry for your injuries and you will be well,” Kalonzo said.

He thanked them for fighting for the country and said they were heroes for defending the rights of many Kenyans.

The patients also urged Kalonzo to do his best to ensure what they fought for was not in vain.

“Hakikisha ile vita tulipigana haitapotea ivo.Huyo jamaa ashuke,” they said

Kalonzo also visited the City Mortuary to condole with families who lost their last ones.

“We marched in pain to the Nairobi County Mortuary, where the bodies of our dead children rest. Ruto, bring back the dead, and people will listen.”
