Former Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua has been elected as the next Chairman of the KCB Group Board.
Kinyua will begin his new roles on May 26, 2023, according to a statement issued by KCB Group on Friday.
Following Andrew Wambari Kairu’s retirement, he takes over as Group Chairman.
In accordance with the Board Charter, Kairu had served as Group Chairman for a five-year tenure.
“Kinyua has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning over four decades in public service and has a wealth of experience in public administration, economic planning, and policy direction,” the statement read.
