He is the chief executive officer of Kwacha Group of Companies, a privately held family office with interests in various sectors of the Kenyan economy including agri-business, financial services, industrials and real estate
In August, Wanjigi revealed he rose to a billionaire from humble beginnings.
Wanjigi said he began as proprietor of a private garbage collection firm which expanded by the day.
“My first business was garbage collection. I pioneered private garbage collection in this country. There was a time during the Moi administration when garbage in this city was a nightmare. Wanjigi owns a partial mansion in Muthaiga, Nairobi county, with a gold-themed living room.
In August 2021, during an interview with Citizen TV, the business mogul turned politician showed his fans a glimpse of his mansion, which sits on five acres.
The photo was shared by media personality Linus Kaikai and left netizens admiring it.
Wanjigi’s house is located at 44 Muthaiga Road, close to the United States (US) ambassador’s residence.
The mansion reportedly has a heated swimming pool, a bunker, and a helipad befitting his status.
Rolls Royce Ghost
Wanjigi owns a customized Rolls Royce Ghost luxurious car.
Manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, the model has a five-seat capacity.
The car can hit 100km/hr in four to six seconds, and its maximum speed is 250km/hr.
The V12-engine vehicle has a 6592CC engine making it one of the most powerful vehicles on Kenyan roads.

According to Business Daily, Kwacha has shares in several Kenyan companies, including Carbacid Investments, East Africa Cables, Kenya Airways (KQ), TotalEnergies Kenya, and ABSA Group Limited.
The group has invested in the real estate sector with housing projects in Ridgeways, Karen, and Nakuru.
It also owns parcels of land in Murang’a, Nyeri, and Kiambu counties.
TYL company, Mann Island
TYL Ltd deals with transactions and cash transfers totalling millions of dollars.
The company was initially incorporated in the Isle of Man as a shell company.
Caramel Restaurant and Lounge
The restaurant is located at ABC Place in Westlands.
