James Maina Mwangi, a 60-year-old Kenyan, is popular online due to his distinctive sense of style.
Mwangi, a local of Nairobi’s Umoja estate, is well known for wearing colorful suits, shoes, and caps.
He has added identical facemasks to his matching attire in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Men were adept at dressing in shades of black, brown, grey, or deep blue. Those were hues for males. In a recent interview with Reuters, he said, “God gave me wisdom and showed me all the numerous colors I may wear to be different from everyone else.
Mwangi claims to have more than 200 sets of shoes, 160 outfits, 300 hats, and facemasks. He always wears the same clothing when he goes out.
He added that when he first arrived in Nairobi, he was wearing one shirt, and people would make fun of him since his father was a poor man, so that’s why he decided to wear matching clothes every day.
Mwangi, who works as a jack of all trades, thinks he is the most intelligent-looking man in the entire continent of Africa, if not the entire world. These images show Mwangi in various clothes.
