Jalang’o MP of Lang’ata has turned down six job offers that would have required him to go back to radio.
Jalas recently said in an interview that businesses still admire his work ethic and seek him out because of it.
The congressman claimed that his dedication to hard work was his greatest accomplishment, and as a result, he would always be valuable to any business that required his services.
“It’s like 6 radio stations. When you know what you do and how hard you work and employers know that you are somebody who puts time… you know our generation
“Any time you are given work to do, give it 100 percent, work hard and employers will always love you. There are so many radio stations who would still want me today, to have me back on air because they know 6:00 am every morning I will always be there to start the work,” he told Eve Mungai.
The comedian seems to be a pro at going against his comfort zone to accomplish his objectives.
He started his radio career at Kiss 100 before moving on to work for radio Maisha, a station run by the Standard Group.
He spent some time working at Radio Maisha with Alex Mwakideu before Royal Media’s Hot 96 called.
To join Jeff Koinange on the Breakfast program, he departed the station. Before Milele FM hired him, he spent nearly two years working at the radio station.
He reconnected with Alex Mwakideu, a former coworker and buddy, in Milele. They collaborated up until the Covid epidemic arrived in 2020.
He abruptly left Mediamax, and shortly after that, when his radio career started, he returned to Kiss 100.
He quit Kiss in February 2022 to enter politics, and in August he was elected.
