The Project Oversight Council will include CS Murkomen, alongside Principal Secretaries from the ministries of Sports, Defence, Treasury, and Transport.

The Secretariat, responsible for day-to-day operations, will be headed by media personality Mike Rabar and deputised by FKF Secretary General Patrick Korir.

The Secretariat will operate from Talanta Plaza in Upper Hill, under the Ministry of Sports.

The CHAN-AFCON MAT will undertake various responsibilities, including:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinating efforts between government, private sector, and football stakeholders.

The multi-agency team will be financed by the national government, as well as donations and endowments generated from its activities.
