Popular KTN News anchor Mary Kilobi has reacted to Former Sports Cabinet Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa claims that she used to be his side-chick before marrying Atwoli.
Taking to her Instagram page, the journalist has called out Echesa for lying as she denied ever being involved in a romantic affair with the former Cabinet Secretary.
While speaking in a political function at Amalemba Grounds in Kakamega County, Echesa claimed that he had an affair with Mary Kilobi before she got married to Francis Atwoli.

Kilobi said that although her profession as a journalist has given her an opportunity to interact with prominent figures, she has never interacted with Echesa. She has only seen him at their Kajiado home but they have never interacted on a personal level.
She further added that she doesn’t even have Echesa’s phone number. She termed Echesa’s remarks as disrespectful and totally unacceptable. Kilobi said Echesa was settling political scores by attacking her and lying that they were dating.
” Just for clarity as a journalist, I have interacted with many news sources but not even once have I with one Rashid Echesa. I have only seen him in our Kajiado home. I’ve never even had his phone number! Therefore I consider what he said yesterday for the sake of settling political scores very disrespectful! and totally unacceptable” she wrote.
Atwoli is involved in an ugly war of words with Ruto’s allies after he disrespected the Deputy President’s mother. Kilobi has warned Ruto’s allies to stop dragging her into their political war with her husband Atwoli.
