Award-winning gospel singer Audiphaxad Peter Omwaka, popularly known as Guardian Angel, officially wed Esther Musila earlier this year.
The two love birds tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony that was graced by their close friends and family on Tuesday January 4, 2022.
Since then, Esther has been praising radio presenter Maina Kageni for being God-sent.
When the couple were hosted on Citizen TV’s Kubamba Show, they talked about their relationship, and their amazing love story.
Asked how she met Guardian, the 51-year-old mother of three said one morning when she was going to work, she heard one of Guardian’s song play on Classic 105, and it was the first time she heard it.
“I called Maina Kageni and asked him which song is that. He texted back immediately and told me it is Radar by Guardian Angel,” Musila recalled.
She had never had about the artiste as well, and she said once she got to the office, she logged in on her computer and searched for Guadian Angel on YouTube, and played that song the whole day.
“By the time I was getting back home in the evening, I knew the words of that song but I was curious who Guardian was. I texted Maina and told him I would really like to meet Guardian because he is underrated,” she said.
Musila planned and met with Maina and Guardian, and that is where their love story began.
“Meeting Guardian Angel was planned by God,” the 51-year-old said.
Guardian, who is in his early thirties, has been criticised for settling down with a woman older than him but he has given critics a deaf ear and is deeply in love with Musila.
